Sublimation printing is a technique that uses heat sensitive inks. These inks turn into gas under the influence of heat and combine with a 100% (recycled) polyester medium. Since the ink becomes part of the structure of the material (molecular level), rather than topical level (such as screen printing or transfer printing) the images on the fabric don’t fade or crack under normal conditions – even after multiple washings. Sublimation can only be done on a white fabric.
Sublimation can be used for single or multiple color prints with an all-over coverage of ink (up to 100% of the surface). In addition it is ideally suitable for photographic images, patterns or artwork including logos with gradients.
